You are basically trying to take control of the city from The Syndicate and the various street gangs that also want to do the same kind of thing. This is an open-world 3rd person action game and the city has a ton of stuff for you to do. This is arguably the best of all the GTA clones and I think the fact that the game is silly and crazy does more than enough to set it apart from Grand Theft Auto. Look, there is no denying that Saints Row: The Third Remastered is a Grand Theft Auto clone, but that is not a bad thing. On one side of things, we have The Syndicate who are a crime organization and on the other side we have the military group trying to keep The Syndicate in line, S.T.A.G, you are caught in the middle! The basics are that you are once again the leader of the gang and now, five years after the events of Saints Row 2, things in the city of Steelport have gone to hell. What we have here with Saints Row: The Third Remastered is the exact same story that was in the original game, but I am cool with that as it was a lot of fun. One of the main things that I really love about this series is how over the top it has always been. How the heck did that happen? It means I am getting old man! Anyway, I played the hell out of the original on the Xbox 360 and now the remastered version is making its way to STEAM I thought that there was no better time than now to get reacquainted with this series. One of the things that blew my mind about Saints Row: The Third Remastered was the realization that this game is now ten years old.
